Università degli Studi di Palermo

The University of Palermo was established in 1806 by Ferdinand III of the Bourbon royal family. It currently offers 163 academic programs including bachelor’s, master’s, and single-cycle master’s degrees, along with 44 specialization schools and 33 PhD programs. The university blends tradition with innovation while remaining committed to social and professional development. It ranks among 851–900 in the QS World University Rankings 2025 and 601–800 in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025.
