Does Academic guarantee admission or a scholarship?
No. Academic organizes evidence and fit; final decisions belong to universities, scholarship bodies and immigration authorities.
Is a fit score an admission probability?
No. It measures preference fit alongside deterministic eligibility checks.
What does officially verified mean?
That exact field has supporting official evidence. Other fields may be IMS-reviewed, catalog-listed, missing, stale or conflicting.
Does IMS authenticate my documents?
No. Review the university’s document requirements and arrange any required certification with the relevant issuer or authority.
Which languages are supported?
The interface supports English, Russian and Simplified Chinese.
Can Academic apply for me?
Academic provides self-application guidance. Premium Admission is a separate human service.
What is IMS Connect?
A city-based introduction experience for people aged 16+, separate from Academic. A higher local minimum age may apply. It is not a dating product or an in-app messenger.
Does Connect track me in the background?
No. Foreground readings are used only while Connect is active to confirm a supported city. Exact coordinates are used transiently and then discarded.
When are contact details revealed?
Only after requester and recipient both approve and independently choose what to share.
What happens when I block someone?
Both profiles disappear from each other, pending introductions stop and active contact grants are revoked.
Can people see who viewed them?
No. Profile owners see only aggregate 7- and 30-day totals; viewer identity is not stored for insights.
Do I need to chat to see my matches?
No. Complete your Academic profile to browse and compare your university matches.
What is included for free?
Full university matches, scholarships, application links, university updates and Connect, subject to safety limits.
Do I need a subscription to use IMS Hub?
No. University matches, university updates and Connect are free. Previous subscription expiry does not remove access. You control optional alerts in Settings.
How do I cancel or restore an Apple subscription?
Manage renewal in Apple subscription settings. Restore purchases reconnects an eligible purchase to its owning IMS account. Deleting IMS does not cancel an Apple subscription.
