A PERSONAL CONNECTION

Know the place before you go.

A university website gives you the facts. A current student adds the everyday context.

Compare approved university affiliation, academic program, languages, guidance topics, time zone, response expectations and available service history before choosing.

Start with your university matches in Academic Mode, then open Chats. An approved mentor’s shared link can also take you directly to that profile. Paid mentorship stays separate from city-based Connect.

ONE MENTOR · ONE PASS

Seven days, with a clear beginning.

You pay for a conversation with a chosen person, with service deadlines visible in your order.

  1. Choose your mentor and question

Review the profile and response expectations. Tell the mentor what you need help with before checkout.

  2. Pay through your app store

Confirm the final store price. After payment is verified, the mentor has 24 hours to send a meaningful first reply.

  3. Start your seven days

Your 168 hours begin with that first reply. Mentors should answer within 24 hours. A final 24-hour period covers replies to questions sent before expiry.

  4. Confirm help or report a problem

After the service ends, confirm that you received help or raise a case. If you do neither, completion may happen after a further seven days, provided no unresolved case or reply obligation blocks it.

One-time purchase. One selected mentor. No automatic renewal.

BUILT AROUND TRUST

Your question deserves a response.

If service falls short, you have an order, a report route and an administrator follow-up process.

A missed first-reply deadline prevents the service from starting and opens a refund case. Later missed response deadlines can open a service case and hold completion and related earnings.

Report poor service or safety concerns from your order or chat. IMS reviews the relevant records. Store refunds follow Apple or Google Play decisions; a pending case is not a completed refund. Ratings are separate from confirmation, and a positive review is never required.

Enrollment evidence and bank details stay private. Messaging is protected in transit and at rest, but is not end-to-end encrypted. Authorized staff may review relevant content for support, safety, fraud or disputes.

Mentors share student experience. Verified affiliation does not mean university endorsement, and guidance does not guarantee admission, scholarships, visas or employment.

FOR CURRENT STUDENTS

Your experience can help someone begin.

Apply to guide prospective students at the university you know firsthand.

Open Settings → University status, select Current student and choose Apply for paid mentorship. Submit your university details, enrollment evidence and mentor profile in the same flow. IMS reviews the application before publication.

University not listed? Submit its full official name and requested details for review. An administrator prepares the directory entry, and requesters are notified when it is published.

70%of net receipts for the mentor

Mentors earn 70% of net receipts after store or processing fees, transaction taxes, refunds and disclosed conversion costs. IMS retains the remainder. The Revenue page in Settings separates held, available and paid earnings; withdrawal requests start at $100.00 available balance.

Earnings become available after protected completion and receipt and reconciliation of provider settlement. Open cases can delay release. Bank verification and payout-country eligibility apply; administrators review and process transfers manually.

After approval, share your mentor link on your social profile or directly with future students. Keep your availability and enrollment information current.

GOOD TO KNOW

Before your first conversation.

Who can buy or provide mentorship?

Buyers and mentors must be at least 18 and meet IMS identity and account eligibility checks. Mentors also need approved current enrollment and Mentorship Program review.

Does the seven-day period start when I pay?

It starts with the mentor’s first meaningful reply after verified payment. The first reply is due within 24 hours. Your order shows activation, expiry and any applicable review deadline.

Will the pass renew or charge me again?

No. Each pass is a separate one-time purchase with one selected mentor. Buying another pass or selecting another mentor requires a new confirmed purchase.

What if my mentor does not respond or does not help?

Use the order or chat to report the problem. Missed response deadlines trigger service protections. Unresolved cases can hold completion and earnings while IMS investigates; refunds depend on the relevant store process and decision.

Can a mentor guarantee an offer or scholarship?

No. This is firsthand peer guidance. Confirm requirements, fees, deadlines and formal decisions with the university or funding provider.

Do I have to complete university matching to apply as a mentor?

No. Current students apply through Settings → University status. Mentor enrollment and review are separate from a prospective student’s Academic matching profile.

Does mentorship change Connect or reveal my private documents?

Connect remains city-based and separate from paid mentorship. University evidence and bank details are restricted to authorized review. Only share chat documents you intend the other participant to receive; authorized staff can review relevant chat content for support or disputes.
