Anhui University

Anhui University is a comprehensive university in Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province. It entered China’s Project 211 in 1996 and has been included in the national Double First-Class initiative since 2017. Its academic work spans the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences and applied fields, giving international students access to a broader university environment than a stand-alone language institute. Hefei’s research and technology sector adds a regional context for study and exchange.

The program currently detailed in this profile is Chinese Language study, taught in Chinese. Anhui University also recruits international applicants for undergraduate and postgraduate education through separate admissions processes; the available majors and language requirements should be checked in the university’s current guide. A language course can provide a foundation for later degree study, but it is a separate qualification route and should not be treated as automatic entry to a bachelor’s or graduate program.
