Overview

Founded in 1956, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine is one of China’s oldest specialist institutions for traditional Chinese medicine and is administered by the Ministry of Education. Its teaching and research span Chinese medicine, Chinese materia medica and integrated Chinese and Western medicine. Affiliated hospitals and clinical teaching bases support training in diagnosis, treatment, acupuncture, rehabilitation and pharmaceutical sciences.
