China West Normal University

China West Normal University is a public university in Nanchong, Sichuan, with a history dating to 1946. It has developed from a teacher-education foundation into a comprehensive institution supporting humanities, science, education, management and applied disciplines. Its academic work includes teacher preparation and postgraduate research, alongside cooperation with universities in other countries and regions. The university’s facilities include libraries, sports grounds, laboratories and teaching spaces serving undergraduate and postgraduate students.

The International College, established in 2015, coordinates international recruitment, student management, Chinese-language and cultural education. Its international admissions guide identifies selected bachelor’s and master’s subjects, with English instruction available in designated fields rather than assumed across the university. International student accommodation includes four-person rooms with bathrooms, air conditioning and hot water, and the university organizes cultural visits. Admission involves review of academic and financial documents, payment of the registration charge and an interview. Government and university awards have separate categories for new undergraduates, continuing undergraduates and graduate students, and their benefits depend on the particular award decision.
