Chongqing Medical and Pharmaceutical College

Chongqing Medical and Pharmaceutical College traces its history to a medical school established in 1948. Today it teaches across University Town, Shapingba and Jiulongpo campuses and concentrates on pharmacy, clinical care and related health professions. Its 2026 guide describes more than 850 faculty and staff, modern practice laboratories, affiliated and teaching hospitals, and partnerships with pharmaceutical firms that support applied training.

Although the college teaches 28 subjects overall, its 2026 international degree intake is specifically limited to two three-year diplomas: Pharmacy and Clinical Medicine. Both are taught in Chinese and English. Pharmacy students study drug preparation, analysis, dispensing and safe-use guidance, while Clinical Medicine combines campus instruction with hospital-based study and basic public-health training. The college publishes a CNY 2,000 annual tuition charge and competitive monthly aid with a stated maximum of CNY 1,000.
