Chongqing Technology and Business University

Chongqing Technology and Business University is a public university in Chongqing with an academic foundation in economics, management and business. Its schools also support law, humanities, science, engineering and related applied fields. Undergraduate and postgraduate education connect teaching and research with the economic and social development of western China. Its international work includes academic partnerships, incoming degree students and Chinese-language teaching, coordinated through the university’s international education and cooperation offices.

The university’s 2026–2027 Ministry of Education–Chongqing joint scholarship catalog explicitly identifies international bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programs, their durations and their languages of instruction. Chinese-taught undergraduate degrees sit alongside selected English-taught graduate routes and doctoral subjects with separate Chinese and English options. Scholarship admission includes academic and language review, an entrance assessment and verification of original qualifications at registration. The joint award covers a defined package of study and living support; it is competitive, and its admission thresholds and benefits apply to that funded route rather than every self-funded student.
