Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications

Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications was founded in 1950 and is jointly supported by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Chongqing Municipality. Information science, communications and computing form its academic foundation, with additional teaching and research in automation, integrated circuits, management, cybersecurity, humanities and art. Its main campus is located in the Nanshan area of Chongqing. The university maintains laboratories and research centers and has longstanding connections with the information and communications industries.

The international admissions system offers Chinese-language study and a defined degree catalog spanning undergraduate, master’s and doctoral education. The 2026–2027 international program attachments specify each degree’s duration and identify subjects that support English instruction. A separate undergraduate assessment matrix gives the required CSCA subjects and paper language for the applicable routes. Applications are submitted through the university’s international portal and reviewed against qualification, language and documentation requirements. Chinese Government, joint government, municipal and university president scholarships have distinct funding packages and deadlines; an admission decision does not itself guarantee scholarship selection.
