Dongguan University of Technology

Dongguan University of Technology is the first public undergraduate university in Dongguan and an applied science and engineering institution in Guangdong’s Pearl River Delta. Established in the 1990s, it has developed strengths in computing, electronics, materials, energy and environmental engineering while maintaining programs in business, humanities and social work. Its two campuses connect academic study with the manufacturing and technology ecosystem of the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area.

For international applicants, DGUT’s published undergraduate admissions list spans 13 Chinese-taught majors across engineering, economics and the humanities. Its 2026 international master’s guide identifies 17 Chinese-taught professional degree majors, each with a two-year standard duration. The guide provides a direct online application portal, a defined application period and a substantial university scholarship package for registered master’s students.
