Gansu Vocational University of Industry Technology

Gansu Vocational University of Industry Technology is a public vocational university in Tianshui, Gansu Province. It was formed by integrating Gansu Industry Polytechnic College and Gansu Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. The university combines applied undergraduate education with technical training, and its 2026 prospectus reports nearly 18,000 full-time students, about 1,000 full-time teachers and more than 300 on- and off-campus training bases.

For its 2026 general international intake, the university describes one program in detail: Industrial Robot Technology. The course combines mechanical engineering, electronics, automatic control, computing, sensors and artificial intelligence for industrial automation and robotics practice. Applicants need a high-school qualification, an online entrance interview and at least HSK 2 or equivalent Chinese ability.
