Guangdong Technion–Israel Institute of Technology

Guangdong Technion–Israel Institute of Technology is a Sino-Israeli research university in Shantou established with the Technion. Its academic focus brings together engineering, materials, biotechnology, food systems, environmental research, physics, mathematics, and chemistry. The English-language undergraduate environment pairs science foundations with laboratory work and research projects, while the institute’s graduate research operates with the Technion Graduate School.

The current academic directory names seven undergraduate degree majors and eight graduate research fields, from Chemical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering to Mechanical Engineering (Robotics) and Environmental Engineering. International undergraduate applicants are assessed on mathematics and science preparation, academic records, recommendations, and English proficiency. Graduate researchers normally conduct most work at the Shantou campus and spend a portion of their studies at the Technion in Haifa, with degrees awarded by the Technion.
