Guangxi Minzu University

Guangxi Minzu University is a multidisciplinary public university in Nanning whose distinctive work connects ethnic studies, languages and the societies of China and Southeast Asia. Its colleges encompass politics, law, economics, humanities, education, science, engineering, management and the arts. Location in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region places the university near ASEAN countries and supports study and exchange centered on cross-border languages, culture, trade and regional development. International applicants can explore a much broader curriculum than a small selection of highlighted scholarship majors.

The university's 2026 international-student catalog names degree programs at bachelor's and master's levels across these fields, with four-year undergraduate and three-year master's pathways. The catalog also provides doctoral discipline information, although it explicitly identifies its doctoral list as a provisional reference based on the preceding year's program catalog until the 2026 list is issued. Applicants should verify availability of a proposed doctoral supervisor and specialization with the university. The international education and admissions units publish program directories, application requirements, tuition and housing schedules, and separate government and university scholarship notices.
