Guizhou Light Industry Vocational University

Guizhou Light Industry Vocational University is a public vocational university in the Gui’an New District of Guiyang. It grew from two light-industry schools founded in 1977 and 1979 and was upgraded to university status in 2025. Its teaching and practical training serve Guizhou’s digital economy, food and beverage production, new-energy industries and visual arts, with campus facilities designed around applied skills and industry projects.

The latest accessible international diploma guide, issued before the university upgrade, names five three-year majors: Art Design, Food Inspection and Testing Technology, New Energy Vehicle Technology, Big Data Technology and Internet of Things Application Technology. The international pathway requires HSK Level 3 or higher and includes an entrance assessment. The university also runs short Chinese-language and skills courses, but those are separate from the five diploma programs listed here.
