Honghe University

Honghe University is a public institution in Mengzi, Yunnan, serving a region with strong links to Southeast Asia. Its international admissions catalog names undergraduate programs in humanities, education, engineering, agriculture, the arts, and regional languages, together with three master’s programs. The bachelor’s offerings include Vietnamese, Thai, Khmer, Lao, and Burmese, reflecting the university’s cross-border academic setting.

The university’s schools also provide study in digital media, environmental ecology, plant protection, business, chemistry, and teacher education. International applicants can review a bilingual major catalog attached to the 2026 Yunnan provincial scholarship notice. Program-specific academic requirements still apply; the scholarship call requires HSK results and, for undergraduate applicants, a CSCA score and an interview.
