Hubei University of Technology

Hubei University of Technology is a public multidisciplinary university in Wuhan, founded in 1952 with engineering as its principal academic focus. Its teaching and research also extend into economics, management, science, humanities, arts and related fields. The university maintains laboratories, engineering research centres and industry partnerships that connect academic study with manufacturing, biotechnology, civil infrastructure and other areas of applied research. Its international education activity began in 1998 and includes degree students, language learners and visiting scholars.

The 2026 international prospectus publishes a defined set of Bachelor’s, Master’s and doctoral programmes, plus non-degree Chinese study, with individual durations and level-specific tuition. Undergraduate and language applicants need published high-school averages of at least 60 percent, while postgraduate admission considers qualifications, academic background, recommendations and research preparation without a published numerical grade cutoff. Online applicants provide documentary and language evidence and undergo institutional review, including postgraduate interviews. University and Hubei provincial funding, tuition concessions and doctoral scholarships have separate selection conditions and are recorded independently from ordinary admission requirements.
