Inner Mongolia University of Technology

Inner Mongolia University of Technology is a public applied research university whose main academic focus is engineering. Established in 1951 and renamed in 1993, it has developed undergraduate, Master’s and doctoral education alongside research in materials, chemistry, energy, manufacturing and related fields. Its four campuses are Xincheng, Jinchuan, Zhungeer and Kangbashi, with teaching and research activity extending beyond Hohhot into other parts of Inner Mongolia. The university’s international office reports partnerships with universities and research institutions across Asia, Europe and North America.

The international education office publishes a college-by-college catalogue of Bachelor’s, Master’s and doctoral subjects, together with tuition for degree and language students. Chinese Government and Inner Mongolia regional government scholarship routes have distinct eligibility conditions: the regional undergraduate award is specifically for Mongolian citizens.
