Overview
Founded in 1958 in Taizhou, Jiangsu Agri-animal Husbandry Vocational College is a public institution specializing in applied agriculture, animal science and veterinary training. It operates four campuses and reports more than 800 full-time teachers. The college joined China’s high-level vocational-school initiative in 2019 and has developed teaching facilities for livestock, veterinary care, food production and related industries.
The college has recruited international students since 2012 and became the first Chinese vocational college to pass the national quality certification for international-student education in 2018. Its latest publicly accessible international degree brochure identifies nine English-taught, three-year diploma majors spanning veterinary medicine, aquaculture, food, horticulture, e-commerce, computing and manufacturing. These are the complete nine majors in that brochure, rather than the full domestic course catalog.
