Jilin Agricultural University

Jilin Agricultural University is a public university in Changchun, jointly supported by Jilin Province and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. Agriculture and life sciences form its academic foundation, supported by programmes in science, engineering, medicine, management, economics, law, education, humanities and art. Its research and teaching connect crop production, animal science, food processing, biological resources and rural development, with specialist facilities for agricultural research, germplasm development and technology transfer.

The university offers international undergraduate, Master’s, doctoral and visiting-study opportunities, with Chinese, English and explicitly bilingual teaching labels recorded in its international catalogue. International cooperation includes partnerships across 31 countries, agricultural training and demonstration work in Zambia, and cooperation with the National University of Lesotho. Its international education office manages admission, academic guidance and accommodation, and publishes separate self-funded and scholarship procedures. Applicants should distinguish the ordinary admissions requirements from the more selective Chinese Government Scholarship route.
