Kunming University of Science and Technology

Kunming University of Science and Technology is a multidisciplinary university in Yunnan Province with engineering as a central academic strength. Its fields extend into science, management, economics, medicine, law, arts and humanities. The 2026 international admissions brochure describes four campuses and academic links with institutions in numerous countries, including research collaboration, credit arrangements, student exchange and joint teaching. Its location in Kunming supports educational connections with Southeast Asia and other neighboring regions, while specialist schools provide practical and research training across industrial and professional fields.

The current international catalogue specifies which subjects admit Bachelor’s, Master’s and doctoral students and lists CSCA subject combinations for undergraduate entry. Ordinary degree study is described as Chinese-taught with HSK 4 entry, while language learners can choose regular classes, flexible small-group tuition or short cultural courses. Separate CSC, Yunnan provincial, CLEC and university scholarships carry different eligibility rules, benefits and deadlines. Fees are separated by subject category, study type, campus and billing unit; hourly language prices and annual housing are not combined into an artificial annual tuition figure.
