Linyi University

Linyi University is a comprehensive public university administered by Shandong Province. Founded in 1941, it has developed an applied academic profile spanning science, engineering, business, humanities and other disciplines. Its international admissions brochure describes collaboration with universities in Asia, Europe and the Americas, joint postgraduate training and a Confucius Institute established with the University of Conakry in Guinea. The main campus is in Linyi, a city in southeastern Shandong with a long cultural history and transport connections to other major Chinese cities.

The university’s 2026 international admissions catalogue offers four English-taught undergraduate subjects and four English-taught Master’s subjects, alongside Chinese-language study. Undergraduate and Master’s study lasts four and three years respectively. Admission involves document review, subject-school assessment and interviews where required. International students can apply through the university’s designated portal; the brochure also distinguishes tuition awards for degree students from the separately administered International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship. Campus accommodation, insurance and other published charges are recorded separately from tuition.
