Newcastle University Medicine Malaysia

Newcastle University Medicine Malaysia, commonly known as NUMed, is located in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. Its foundation and undergraduate portfolio is awarded by Newcastle University in the United Kingdom. The campus publishes a Foundation in Science, medicine and biomedical sciences, together with sport and exercise science and data science programs advertised for the 2027 cycle. Teaching combines Newcastle academic standards with the Malaysian study context.

Program arrangements differ: Biomedical Sciences uses two years in Malaysia followed by a final year in Newcastle, while other routes have their own published campus specifications. The 2027/28 international tariff identifies base tuition, service tax and an inclusive academic-fee total. Medical applicants must also consider professional registration and internship rules in the country where they intend to practise; NUMed does not guarantee an internship placement for international graduates.
