Sunway University

Sunway University is based in Bandar Sunway, Selangor, and offers programs across business, computing, engineering, mathematical sciences, medicine and health, hospitality, the arts and social sciences. Its academic portfolio includes diplomas, Bachelor’s degrees, taught and research Master’s qualifications and doctoral study. Selected awards involve Lancaster University or Arizona State University, with the partner and award arrangements stated on the relevant course page. These university offerings are distinct from the pre-university programs delivered by Sunway College within the wider education group.

English is the university’s published medium of instruction, with Malay-language general studies included where required. Course pages provide program structures, qualification alternatives and subject-specific prerequisites, alongside separate English entry requirements. Sunway also publishes professional certification, microcredentials, online learning and international mobility activities; participation conditions and award status vary between those options. Its international office provides application and arrival guidance, while its scholarship portal explains country-specific international bursaries and postgraduate research support. Applicants should distinguish annual indicative course fees from full-program charges and check the treatment of partner-study periods, student-pass costs and accommodation.
