About Tianjin University
Founded in 1895 as Peiyang University, Tianjin University is the first institution of higher education in the modern history of China. It is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and a member of the 'Double First-Class' initiative. The university operates across three campuses: Weijin Road, Peiyangyuan, and Binhai Industrial Research Institute, with a total student body exceeding 40,000.
