Universitas Negeri Padang

Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) is a public university in Padang whose origins lie in teacher education in 1954. It later developed into a comprehensive university, adopted its current name in 1999 and now operates faculties and schools across education, social sciences, languages, mathematics, engineering, sports, economics, tourism and postgraduate study.

UNP’s KNB 2026 listing covers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programs for qualified international applicants. The university’s international office coordinates scholarship and cross-border study opportunities, while departments deliver subject-specific teaching and research. KNB students undertake Indonesian-language study before entering regular classes; program-specific admissions, facilities and any direct-admission options remain governed by UNP’s own notices.
