Universitas Sebelas Maret

Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) is a public university in Surakarta established on 11 March 1976. It brings together faculties and schools covering education, medicine, engineering, agriculture, social sciences, law, economics, culture, mathematics and other disciplines. Teaching, research and public service connect its campus to communities and industry in Central Java.

The 2026 KNB annex identifies master’s and doctoral programs at UNS for international scholarship candidates. The university’s own KNB booklet provides additional institutional context for those degrees. Students admitted under KNB undertake Indonesian-language preparation before joining regular Bahasa Indonesia classes; applicants for other university routes should confirm the separate program catalog and intake rules directly with UNS.
