Universitas Syiah Kuala

Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK) is a public university in Banda Aceh. Its faculties and postgraduate school span economics and business, medicine, engineering, law and other fields, with university research facilities and international partnerships supporting study. USK’s 2026/27 international admissions notice explicitly welcomes foreign applicants to undergraduate and postgraduate regular or international classes.

For the direct international route, USK publishes a February–March 2026 window, an online application address and a USD 100 application fee. The university also says selected international students may receive tuition-cost support, subject to its selection criteria. The separate 2026 KNB annex names thirteen degrees available through the government scholarship; those awardees study Indonesian before entering regular Indonesian-medium classes.
