University of Shanghai for Science and Technology

Founded in 1906, the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology is a long-established Shanghai university with a strong engineering and applied-science identity. It is based in Shanghai, one of China’s most important higher-education and industry centers, and its main international-student office is located on Jungong Road in the city’s Yangpu area. USST presents itself as a university covering six main disciplines: engineering, science, economics, management, literature, and law. The university reports 59 undergraduate programs, 108 master-degree programs, and 35 PhD programs, giving it broad coverage across degree levels.
