Xi’an Technological University

Xi’an Technological University, founded in 1955 and located in the historic city of Xi’an, is a key high-level university in Shaanxi Province. The university offers a comprehensive educational system for undergraduates, postgraduates, and post-doctoral researchers across three research centers. Rooted in a proud history, the university upholds the ethos of “loyalty, enterprise, craftsmanship, and versatility” and the motto “upholding virtues and studies, enhancing knowledge and practice.” With a strong focus on engineering practice and manufacturing technology, Xi’an Technological University has cultivated over 110,000 highly skilled professionals who have made significant contributions to regional development and the national defense industry, earning broad recognition for its academic excellence.

The university’s campus spans 1,200 acres with 800,000 square meters of building space. It employs more than 1,800 faculty members, including nearly 600 professors and associate professors, and serves over 20,000 students. Its library holds over 1.78 million volumes and extensive digital resources. The university also hosts one national engineering practice and education center, one national experimental teaching demonstration center, 16 provincial virtual simulation centers, and 4 provincial off-campus practice bases. With 14 teaching units, it offers 3 doctoral programs, 22 master’s programs, and 54 bachelor’s programs across eight disciplines, including engineering, science, management, economics, law, literature, education, and art. Notably, six programs are part of the Ministry of Education’s “Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program,” and three have earned national engineering education accreditation.
