Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology

The university has been approved by the State Council to establish a Graduate School. Currently, the Graduate School offers 29 doctoral programs, 66 master’s programs, and operates 4 post-doctoral research stations. It also hosts 3 national key disciplines and 16 provincial key disciplines.

Among the 29 doctoral programs, four have been recognized as national key disciplines, namely Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Management Engineering, and Architecture. The four post-doctoral research stations are in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and Materials Science. International applicants can pursue undergraduate, master’s, doctoral, and foundation study. Undergraduate study includes Applied Chemistry, Architecture, and Urban Design. At master’s level, options include Drama and Film Study, Design, and Mining Engineering. Doctoral study is represented by Materials Science and Engineering and Environmental Science and Engineering. Teaching languages include Chinese and English, depending on the program. Preparatory or language study provides an entry route distinct from a full degree.
