Xishuangbanna Vocational and Technical College

Xishuangbanna Vocational and Technical College is a public higher vocational institution approved by Yunnan Province and registered with China’s Ministry of Education. Based in Menglun, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, it is a provincial model college, a Lancang–Mekong international skills training base and an HSK test center. Its schools cover international studies, arts and sciences, health and elder care, tourism and finance, rural development and digital commerce.

The college has received international students since 1994 and reports more than 3,000 long- and short-term learners from over ten countries. Its 2026 brochure explicitly lists 25 Chinese-taught, three-year diploma majors, from preschool education, law and business to agriculture, traditional tea production, nursing, pharmacy and computing. Diploma applicants need HSK Level 4 and apply through the college’s online portal. The brochure also distinguishes provincial, overseas-Chinese and college scholarships, each with different published values and fee treatment.
