Overview
Zhengzhou Institute of Technology is a higher vocational college founded in 1995 in Henan’s Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone. It concentrates on applied engineering and industrial skills and describes close connections with enterprises in manufacturing, transportation and electronics. Its wider college catalog includes 49 majors, with equipment manufacturing and electronic information forming a substantial share of its teaching activity.
For international students, the 2026–2028 admissions brochure offers one three-year degree-level diploma: Mechatronics. It combines mechanical systems, electrical engineering and intelligent control with workshop practice in programmable control, numerical control, industrial robots and automated production. Applicants need at least HSK 2 or the college’s qualifying Chinese-language preparation; the official application calls the route “Chinese + Mechatronics.” A separate one-year Chinese-and-vocational-skills course is nondegree and is not presented as a diploma major.
