Choosing where to study brings together two different kinds of questions. One is practical: which programs fit your background, plans and budget? The other is personal: who can you meet as you build a student life of your own?

Give Academic a useful starting point
Academic begins with your profile. Study goals describe the level, subject interests, teaching language, destination and intake you have in mind. Academic background records your education and its results. Application readiness holds language evidence and other preparation details, while Funding and mobility captures your annual contribution and funding source.
These sections help turn a broad wish into something concrete. “I want to continue studying” becomes a particular study level, a few program interests and a starting month. Your education records then show the qualifications behind that plan.
You can revise this information as your plans develop. A new result, a different budget or a change of destination is a reason to revisit the relevant section and save the updated details.
Turn university cards into decisions
The Academic feed is headed Universities. Its cards bring together a university, a matched program and available facts such as level, teaching language and intake. Reasons for the match help explain why an option appears.
Open a university to investigate the parts that matter to you. The detail page has sections for programs, fees and living costs, entry requirements, application documents, dates, scholarships and sources. Information varies between options, so a useful first question is simply: what do I know here, and what would I still need to establish?
With Academic access, you can mark an option using the bookmark on its card or Save on the detail page. Saving records the specific program and intake you were considering. When you encounter the option again, its saved state helps you recognize that it already caught your attention.
Meet people through a deliberate introduction
Connect begins with a student profile that you manage, including your bio and photos. Nearby discovery gives you a place to look for people you might want to know. A useful profile gives someone a reason to connect: an interest, a language you enjoy using or something you hope to do with other students.
An introduction includes a choice about contact sharing. Select the methods you want to share with that person; the recipient makes their own choice when accepting. Supported methods include WhatsApp, WeChat, Instagram and Telegram. Once the introduction is accepted, use the shared method to continue the conversation in that service.
A peer can offer a personal perspective on student life. A focused opening, such as asking about a shared interest or daily routine, makes the first conversation easier to begin.
Start with the task you have today
For study research, begin with an accurate Academic profile and read the university preview it produces. Basic offers up to three preview matches. Student Core and Student Pro include full Academic matches and saved choices; the app shows the membership options when an action needs that access.
For meeting people, complete Connect setup and choose the information you want to present. You do not need to turn every study search into a social task, or every introduction into a conversation about admissions.
