You have already paid, but IMS Hub still seems to show Basic. Or you want to stop renewal and need to know when access ends. These are status questions first: establish which plan is active and which provider manages it before trying another purchase.

The starting point is Settings → Payments & subscription. This opens a screen titled Membership. Its status and action labels are designed to reflect your current situation, so read them in order instead of treating every plan card as a new offer.

Read Current plan before selecting an offer

At the top of Membership, Current plan identifies the access presently recorded for your account. For an active paid period, the screen can show Renews or Expires followed by a date. Renews indicates automatic renewal is recorded; Expires indicates the current paid period has an end without that renewal setting.

The plan card below is the plan you are viewing. Selecting Student Core or Student Pro there does not, by itself, change your membership. A Current plan button identifies an already matching plan. Other actions may say Subscribe, Resubscribe, Upgrade to Student Pro or Switch to Student Core.

Check the account you are signed into as well. A payment receipt and the account currently open in the app need to describe the same purchase relationship. If the Membership screen cannot load billing, use Try again and wait for a current result before interpreting missing information as an expired plan.

Manage the provider that holds the subscription

Use Manage subscription when it is available. For Apple or Google Play purchases, this opens that store's subscription management. A supported web-billed subscription uses its own billing management flow. Follow the provider's displayed terms when changing or cancelling a plan.

The available change action can differ by device and provider. For example, the app can offer a native plan-change purchase for an active Apple subscription on iOS, while another situation directs you to Manage subscription. Do not assume that a switch is immediate, prorated in a particular way or effective on a date that has not been confirmed.

After making a change, return to Membership and review Current plan and the renewal or expiry date. Those are the useful checks for planning your next Academic session, not merely whether a button was tapped.

Restore a native purchase when access is missing

Where native purchases are enabled, Membership includes Restore purchases. Use it for an existing App Store or Google Play purchase that needs to be recognized again, such as after returning to the app on a device. Read the result carefully: the app can report a successful restore, no active purchase or a purchase that still needs attention.

Restoring is a request to reconcile an existing purchase. It does not create a new paid period when the original subscription has expired. If a restore fails, retry when connected or use Help & support with the error shown and the purchase information needed to identify the issue.

Avoid posting receipts or account identifiers in university discussions or Connect. Billing support belongs in the support flow, where you can explain which account and purchase channel are involved.

Resolve a renewal problem before buying again

A warning that the provider could not collect the latest renewal may lead to Update payment method. A membership on hold also directs attention to the billing provider. Resolve that situation through the displayed action and then recheck the app.

Payment history appears when there are recorded payments, and eligible Pro accounts can open Advisor usage separately. These serve different purposes: a payment entry is a record, while Current plan tells you the app's present membership state.

Open Membership and check Current plan before your next purchase. If the status is still unclear, use Settings → Help & support with the message shown. Continue in IMS Hub.
